Welcome to Louis Mountbatten Primary School, a education institution nestled in the heart of Harare, Zimbabwe. Established in the previous century, our school carries the legacy of Louis Mountbatten, an eminent statesman and naval officer. Lord Louis Mountbatten, a distant cousin of Queen Elizabeth II, was hailed by King Charles III as "a grandfather I never had."

Our students wear a school uniform adorned with the school crest, a symbol that embodies Lord Mountbatten's personal coat of arms. The use of this emblem is authorized by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, reinforcing the connection to our royal heritage. The crest features the motto of the Order of the Garter, "Honi soit qui mal y pense," an Old French expression translating to "Shame on him who thinks evil of it."
